Podcast Feed Rotation - Spring 2026
We've added a feed for Coach Chip's YouTube Channel along with two episodes of the audio podcast version of Football Talk with Coach Chip. The audio versions feature former Guest and Host of numerous podcasts including many here, Tony DeMeo. According to Coach Chip, there is no overlap of content between the YouTube shows and the audio-only podcasts that are distributed on Apple podcasts and Spotify. /p>
25 Years of Option Central podcast
In our newest podcast produced for Option Central, the topic was the evolution of Option Central over its 25 year history. In this deep dive about our affiliate site, the hosts take a walk down memory lane in a way that uniquely traces the history of computers, technology and the use of digital and online media as learning tools for football coaches. Check it out at optioncentral.net.
Podcast Feed Rotation - Winter 2026
In the first rotation of our Podcast Feeds since Summer, we added The Coach and Coordinator podcast to our Audio Podcast Feed page and The Board Drill podcast to our YouTube Feed page.
Web site refresh - Summer 2025
Despite being on hiatus from publishing podcasts, we decided to maintain and modernize compusportsradio.com as a standalone web site. We made the decision after resolving an issue with some of our later Coaches Corner shows that prevented the podcast player from displaying on the screen.
Our updated and mobile friendly design better supports the addition of feeds from a number of popular football coaching podcasts, while continuing to provide convenient and continued access to the 100+ shows that we've produced and distributed over the years
Our 2 Podcast feed pages use the feed technology that was recently added to our affiliate site, www.footballcoachingsites.com and offer a convenient way to keep up to date on the latest episodes of today's leading football coaching podcasts.
We plan to rotate feeds periodically based on listener/viewer trends as well as suggestions that we receive, and expect to add additional feeds in the future.
Triple Gun Podcast
The Triple Gun Podcast was a pilot for an audio-only "podcast version" of the audio track from McNally Clinic presentation videos that we licensed from Coach Tony DeMeo.
Part 1 of the Triple Gun Podcast series consists of 4 episodes. Topics included in the first 4 episodes are The 4 Aces, Meaningful Stats, Formations, Motions, Offensive Line, Backfield and QB Play in the Gun Triple.
The 4 part mini-series concludes with Coach DeMeo providing an overview of running the play against even and odd fronts and 3 and 4 "shell" coverages. Collectively, the 4 episodes in Part I of this podcast series deliver an edited and optimized-for-audio version of Coach DeMeo's 2 hour presentation at the McNally clinic.. Listen Now
Podcast production schedule paused as Syndicated show distribution begins
Prior to the release of the Triple Gun Podcast series, we had been on hiatus since late 2019 after completing our 10th year of publishing and distributing football coaching podcasts.
Prior to the pause in our production schedule, we distributed our first "syndicated" show - a 9-part series from the co-founders of the Surface to Air system - The S2A podcast with Rich Hargitt and Rick Butler.
Also a syndicated podcast, This Week in College Football was our first foray into syndication, and was a slight departure from past shows in that it had a broad audience appeal to football fans as well as football coaches. Hosted by Tony DeMeo - a former guest on a number of Coaches Corner and Mesh Point shows, and later host of our Chalk Talk podcast series, This Week in College Football did a review/preview of the big games in College Football each week from a coach's perspective. Game reviews included a discussion of whether and how Meaningful Stats influenced the results of the featured games (Coach DeMeo explained his Meaningful Stats concept in his first appearance on Coaches Corner in Volume 72 ).
Publishing and distributing football coaching podcasts had always been of interest to us here at CompuSports Radio. Syndication and distribution was consistent with our vision of ourselves as a pioneer, producer and promoter of football coaching podcasts...what we originally thought of as "Talk Radio for Football Coaches". As with a few things in our 40+ years in football coaching technology, we were early to a game that eventually went mainstream, converged with video and made podcasts ubiquitous. Our embrace of this evolution of "coaching education through conversation" is evident in our development of "podcast widgets", which we first experimented with at our affiliate site, www.footballcoachingsites.com .
We continue to evolve and remain in the game ..stay tuned !
